We are seeking a Senior Staff Program Manager to drive
high-impact technical programs within our Security Products
organization. In this role, you will partner across engineering, product
management, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver programs
that meet Splunk's strategic product and customer goals.

This is a senior individual contributor role that goes beyond project
execution - you will define key program structures, help teams remove
delivery obstacles, and coordinate across multiple interdependent
initiatives. You'll bring transparency to sophisticated work, influence
standard methodologies, and ensure program outcomes are met with
quality and velocity.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Lead technical programs from concept through delivery in alignment with organizational priorities, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Go-To-Market (GTM) readiness.
  • Break down initiatives into coherent workstreams, define timelines, ensure accountability for goals, and act as the central point of truth for execution status.
  • Partner with stakeholders to proactively identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolution.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to align teams on solutions, ensuring both technical and non-technical collaborators understand decisions and implications.
  • Keep detailed program documentation, track dependencies, and report status across multiple teams and leadership levels.
  • Promote consistent program management practices across the organization, mentoring peers and helping grow overall capability.
  • Influence direction and decisions without formal authority, encouraging collaboration and consensus cross-functionally.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in program management or closely related roles within software or cloud technology organizations.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering large, cross-functional technical programs with multiple dependencies and business impact.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise software, cloud architecture, and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work optimally at multiple organizational levels.
  • Proven experience influencing partners and getting results in a matrixed environment.
  • Technical proficiency to understand engineering challenges, assess trade-offs, and support timely decisions.
