What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or suspicious behavior within the location, reporting findings according to established protocols.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner, assisting with security-related inquiries and providing guidance as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed written reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment in the food and beverage setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
