As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driving Role in Baldwin Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible at a prominent retail location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Work closely with store staff and management to address security-related issues as they arise.
• Assist customers and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document all incidents and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Having a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
