This is a US based 100% remote position for someone based in PST or EST time zone. It will start as a 7 month engagement but could extend up to 18 months.

You'll be at the forefront of developing a brand-new, captivating game title using cutting-edge web technologies, directly impacting how millions of users interact and play. Your contributions will shape the future of interactive entertainment, bringing fresh, casual gaming experiences to life and pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the web.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in building responsive, performant, and visually polished web game experiences. You'll collaborate closely with a diverse group of engineers, designers, and producers to translate creative visions into tangible, production-ready features. This role offers a unique chance to work with bleeding-edge AI technologies and processes within a fast-evolving web and mobile game environment, delivering pixel-perfect implementations and enhancing user engagement through innovative design and robust functionality.

What You'll Do



  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Design to deliver high-quality features.
  • Translate Figma designs and interaction specs into tested, accessible, production-ready UI components and pages.
  • Enhance and extend existing design systems and framework code.
  • Refine visual polish, fix defects, and bring implementations up to spec (pixel precision).
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established quality, security, and accessibility standards.
  • Plan, track, and communicate progress using project/task management tools.
  • Instrument features for telemetry, performance, and error tracking (where applicable).


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional front-end engineering experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with CSS.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with TypeScript.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with SolidJS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed with effective time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, profile, and optimize front-end performance.
  • Core knowledge of the web development life cycle (planning, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance).
  • Familiarity with tooling such as Node.js, npm, and Git.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern frameworks and build tools (e.g., Solid.js, Webpack, Vite for code-splitting, bundling, asset optimization).
  • Experience with design collaboration tools, including understanding components, constraints, and tokens.
  • Strong understanding of data integration via RESTful APIs, including handling JSON payloads, error handling, pagination, and caching strategies.
