LEVEL II

  • Estimated annual base pay: $72,000.00 (minimum) - $94,000.00 (midpoint) - $115,000.00 (maximum)

LEVEL III

  • Estimated annual base pay: $86,000.00 (minimum) - $112,000.00 (midpoint) - $138,000.00 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Actions - Lead projects. Mentors Facilities Planner.
  • Product Actions - Accountable for project results.
  • Project Artifacts - Accountable for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.).
  • Project Governance - Lead project meetings and reviews.
  • Project Life Cycle - Accountable for project deliverables.

  • Problem-Solving - Analyzes complex situations, identifies solutions, and makes informed decisions, with the support of the Program Manager or PMO Leader. Manages challenges and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Leverages data and metrics to evaluate options and choose the best course of action.
  • Budget Management - Demonstrated ability to estimate, allocate, and manage project budgets effectively. Monitors financial performance to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Team Management (cross-functional/matrix) - Creates teamwork by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication. Identifies team strengths and assigns roles to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Encourages collaboration to contribute to project success.
  • Scope (Change) Management - Adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information. Clearly defines and controls the project scope to prevent scope creep. Manages change requests while ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints. Maintains focus on deliverables and ensures they meet agreed-upon requirements.
  • Technical Project Management Skills (incl. Scheduling) - Strong project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Effectively uses tools and software (e.g., Planisware, Jira, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Applies standard PM techniques like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Gantt charts.

LEVEL II:

  • This project Management role will be primarily supporting Loves Park Campus. A typical day will include managing projects related to production machinery moves and office moves. This includes the movement of machines that weigh several thousand pounds, work desks, and cubicles. All moves are managed through maintaining an accurate shop/office layout in AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • The Project Manager is expected to manage projects from start to finish, this includes intake meetings with customers to understand the project, followed by planning and execution stages. The project Manager will work with and manage several internal and external resources at any given time.
  • This role works closely with and relies on Facilities Maintenance and Production Machine Repair groups. The ability to work in a direct and indirect Team environment is critical to short- and long-term successes.

LEVEL III:

  • This project Management role will be primarily supporting Loves Park Campus. A typical day will include managing projects related to production machinery moves and office moves. This includes the movement of machines that weigh several thousand pounds, work desks, and cubicles. All moves are managed through maintaining an accurate shop/office layout in AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • The Project Manager is expected to manage projects from start to finish, this includes intake meetings with customers to understand the project, followed by planning and execution stages. The project Manager will work with and manage several internal and external resources at any given time.
  • This role works closely with and relies on Facilities Maintenance and Production Machine Repair groups. The ability to work in a direct and indirect Team environment is critical to short- and long-term successes.
  • Along with the above day to day projects there will be intermittent large-scale projects that will be managed. This could include but is not limited to electrical/mechanical infrastructure changes, building additions and potentially new construction buildings. An understanding of local building code/ordinances or the ability to research and understand applicable codes/ordinances is imperative to this role.
