Now hiring Process Engineer

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay Rate: $42.31 per hour

What You'll Do



  • Support the Engineering Manage-the-Change (MTC) Process and plant change management activities
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement and Six Sigma projects
  • Prepare and support Project Writing to secure capital funds for cost-saving and wellness initiatives
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables
  • Support minor launches, engineering changes, and product updates
  • Lead and support Plant Quality Initiatives and corrective action projects
  • Provide strong Process Engineering support including uptime optimization, troubleshooting, and operational improvements
  • Maintain and update engineering documentation (Process Sheets, PFMEA, DCP, OIS-JSA, Visual Aids, etc.)
  • Pull together cross-functional teams for complex engineering events-acting as a positive leader and change agent
  • Demonstrate Ford OS behaviors: Excellence, Focus, Collaboration
  • Conduct AutoCAD facility layout work, maintain the Vault layout database, and manage plant layout changes
  • Support manufacturing project management for machining and assembly systems
  • Assist with costing/quoting and cost studies to evaluate engineering changes
  • (Bonus) Drive innovation initiatives-3D printing, robotics, AI vision, Automation/Digital workflows
