Job Summary Provides scheduling services for major annual unit outages and major Capital construction /maintenance projects. Provide assistance, advice, and support to project team members in regards to their development of individualized project work breakdown structures. Facilitate the coordinated effort to develop a fully integrated project network logic. Communicate project schedule information to project team members, and management staffs to ensure project success criteria and maintenance results are achievable. Conduct effective collaboration between project managers and contract construction managers. Implements best practices while driving functional consistency and process standardization. Supports a project management and planning culture. Effective use of technology, tools and scheduling techniques to improve process results. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various individuals and functions across the organization. Knowledge of policies, procedures, and standards pertaining to construction, inclusive of safety policies and procedures. Proficient with personal computers.
Essential Functions
- Facilitate the overall scheduling of work activities to ensure that timely and continuous coordination is adequately carried out by responsible project teams.
- Provide detailed Work Breakdown Structures of project activities and interfaces so that proper work management, coordination and cost tracking can be achieved.
- Critique, analyze and comment on individual project schedules provided by project teams and/or Contractors.
- Develop and maintain an overall integrated master project network.
- Obtain and verify progress input, monitor, analyze and report progress as to support overall project status or issues of concern.
- Facilitate schedule conflicts and provide viable alternatives for recovery or ""work-a-rounds"", as to optimize the decision making process related to the overall project.
- Manage a computer based scheduling, resource, and cost system, and have the ability to report on project schedule progress, resource utilization, and cost as required.
- Assist and advise all project team members in planning, execution, and close-out of work scopes.

- Support the assigned Outage General Manager as directed.
- When required, perform the duties of Project Manager or Performance Resource Engineer to support the needs of Electric Generation.
- Define & develop project scopes and specifications
- Investigate/evaluate new technologies and ideologies
- Develop, maintain and improve processes and procedures for project control
- Assure compliance with engineering standards and codes
- Participate in the business planning and Fossil Asset Management processes to ensure that the company's assets are maximized
- Display leadership and support to provide a safe work environment.
- Actively support station Productivity guidelines.
- Required Qualifications For Position
- 4-6 years Five years of generating station experience in maintenance or operations or equivalent.
- Project Management experience, with utilization of Project Management software. Some experience in construction, maintenance and troubleshooting of power plant systems
- Position may require up to 10% travel.
- Technically competent in some aspects of fossil fuel power plant systems.
- Knowledge of contractor functions and responsibilities on major construction or maintenance projects.
- Skilled in communicating technical data to all project team personnel.
- Have the ability to deal with tight schedules, deadlines, and emergency conditions.
- Have the ability to understand and work with Company practices in the following departments, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance and Planning.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
- Possess PC skills for communications, reports, databases and spreadsheets.
- Must have planning, organizational, interpersonal and oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all levels of the organization and outside parties.
- Ability to use various computer hardware and software (i.e. MS Office, project scheduling and tracking software).
- Must be able to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
- Must be able to work in areas of high noise, dust, extreme temperatures, confined spaces and chemical hazards.
- Capability to efficiently perform duties under stringent deadlines, schedules, and conditions.
- Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- Four year degree
- 4-6 years 5 years work experience.

Salary Range*: $60,200.00 - $140,700.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Start Date: 2025-12-01
