United States, California, Menlo Park

Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential - and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology - and careers - to the next level.

One of the key pillars of Snowflake's platform is our unyielding commitment to Ease of Use. As our customers grow from single-account startups to global enterprises, "Ease of Use" evolves into "Ease of Management at Scale" for platform architects and administrators.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a strategic initiative within the Manageability team. This is a greenfield opportunity to define how the world's largest organizations discover, govern, and control their Snowflake footprint globally. You won't just be adding features; you will be fundamentally rethinking parts of our architecture and product objects to support multi-account, multi-region, and organization-level governance. You will enable customer scenarios around centralized discovery, global administration and control, and organization level governance.

This is a high-visibility role where you will look across the entire Snowflake ecosystem. You will move us from a "single account" view to an "organizational" view, solving complex problems regarding centralized discovery, global administration, and fleet-wide control.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Define the Vision: Own the product strategy and roadmap for "Snowflake at Scale," moving the platform toward centralized operations and global governance.

  • Architect for the Future: Partner deeply with engineers and architects to rethink core architecture and data models, enabling cross-account and cross-region management capabilities.

  • Drive 0-to-1 Execution: Lead the initiative in centralized management, taking concepts from ambiguous problem statements to v1 launch and eventual maturity.

  • Influence Holistically: Act as a cross-functional leader. Because Manageability touches many parts of Snowflake, you will influence roadmaps across the entire company to ensure new features are "orgs-first by design."

  • Data-Driven Governance: Define and track key metrics to uncover customer insights and usage patterns.

  • Engage the Customer: Regularly collaborate with Platform Architects at our largest customers to validate designs and gather feedback through preview programs.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5+ years building cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, or IaaS/PaaS solutions.

  • Systems Thinking: The ability to decompose complex technical problems. You are comfortable discussing API contracts, object hierarchies, and tenancy models.

  • 0-to-1 & Scale Experience: You have a track record of launching brand new product lines (v0 to v1) and maturing products to handle massive scale.

  • Cross-Org Leadership: Proven ability to drive alignment across distinct cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Customer Empathy: A passion for "Ease of Use" and a desire to make the lives of IT Administrators and Platform Engineers easier.

  • Modern Prototyping Skills: Comfort using modern AI and design tools to rapidly mock up wireframes, prototypes, and PRDs to visualize complex workflows.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
