The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a Change Management Specialist to support the digital transformation of engineering design delivery and other strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This role will focus on the people side of change, ensuring that new digital tools, processes, workflows, and design technologies are adopted effectively and integrated seamlessly into everyday work. The ideal candidate brings structure, clarity, and consistency to adoption activities while collaborating closely with teams driving technology modernization. This includes supporting initiatives connected to engineering design automation, workflow standardization, data and system integration, process improvements, and enterprise technology platforms. This role directly contributes to building a digital-ready organization by ensuring that change is understood, embraced, and sustained across business units and Lifeline Sectors.

What You'll Do

Digital Transformation & Engineering Design Delivery Support



  • Provide change management support for initiatives that modernize engineering processes, workflows, and design delivery capabilities.
  • Partner closely with technology and engineering leaders to align change activities with digital transformation goals.
  • Translate digital and technical changes into clear, understandable impacts for engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Support adoption of new systems, design tools, automation technologies, and workflow standardization efforts.



Change Execution & Deliverable Development



  • Create and maintain core change deliverables such as:


    • Change impact assessments
    • Stakeholder analyses
    • Readiness and risk assessments
    • Communication and training plans
    • Reinforcement and sustainment plans


  • Ensure change considerations are integrated into digital transformation project plans and timelines.



Stakeholder Engagement & Communication



  • Coordinate engagement and communication activities that support engineering readiness for new digital tools and processes.
  • Draft clear, compelling communications targeted to engineering teams, leaders, and impacted groups.
  • Prepare leaders with talking points, FAQs, and guidance for supporting their teams through digital changes.



Training & Adoption Enablement



  • Support training logistics, communication, and reinforcement activities for new tools and systems.
  • Help ensure engineers, designers, and project teams have the resources they need to adopt new digital workflows successfully.



Measurement & Reinforcement



  • Track adoption progress and report insights, risks, and feedback to initiative teams.
  • Support the development of adoption dashboards, readiness indicators, and post-launch reinforcement plans.
  • Use metrics and feedback loops to recommend adjustments to improve user adoption.



Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work closely with Strategy, Digital Transformation, Technology, Communications, HR, and our LifeLine sectors to ensure change efforts are coordinated and aligned.
  • Serve as a connector between Digital Transformation teams and the business, helping ensure clarity, alignment, and consistent messaging.



What We Expect from You



  • 3-5 years of experience in change management, organizational development, digital transformation, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting change initiatives tied to system implementations, digital tools, workflow redesign, or technology adoption.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and digital concepts into clear, compelling messaging tailored to diverse audiences across the organization.
  • Executive presence and expert-level presentation abilities, including confidence in public speaking, leading high-visibility sessions, and reporting progress to senior leaders and executives.
  • Ability to adapt communication style fluidly based on audience needs, stakeholder concerns, and organizational context.
  • Natural collaborator and relationship builder with strong influencing skills; able to drive alignment, facilitate decision-making, and build momentum across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven agility, demonstrating comfort with shifting priorities, navigating ambiguity, and managing rapid changes while maintaining high-quality execution.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, with a track record of delivering consistent results in complex, fast-paced, and technology-driven environments.
  • High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Self-directed and proactive, able to anticipate needs, take initiative, and drive work forward with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations, including structuring content, visual storytelling, and preparing materials for executive-level audiences.
  • Prosci, ADKAR or similar change management training or certification preferred.
  • Experience working in technical consulting environments preferred.
  • Experience partnering with technology or innovation teams to introduce new digital preferred.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
  • Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $91,100 - $123,200
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
