This is a US based remote position (PST time zone) that will start as a 6 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

Are you a seasoned software engineer ready to make a significant impact on core systems that power global operations? We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to dive into critical full-stack development, shaping the future of our robust platforms. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and evaluating the software and systems that make our technology work, directly influencing the reliability and efficiency of our extensive infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to a wide array of applications, from operating systems-level software to complex network distribution systems, ensuring our platforms remain at the forefront of technological advancement.

What You'll Do



  • Lead efforts in modifying and enhancing existing databases and database management systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Architect and implement logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers for management systems.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic project team to coordinate database development, define project scope, and identify limitations.
  • Evaluate project requests and user needs to accurately estimate the time and resources required for successful project completion.
  • Engage in full-stack development workflows, contributing to an existing codebase with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • Research, design, develop, and test critical software components, compilers, and network distribution software.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C# / .NET Core, including experience with REST APIs, Entity Framework, and async/await.
  • Strong command of Node.js, including Express, REST APIs, and middleware.
  • Expertise in TypeScript with experience in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in SQL and robust database design principles.
  • Experience with API integration and authentication protocols (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
  • Proven skills in debugging and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, Jest, or Mocha.
  • Understanding of CI/CD basics.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to solve complex problems and provide customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and provide basic mentoring support.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from business/systems analysis and requirements gathering to development, testing, and delivery.
  • Adept at troubleshooting issues and implementing system changes to resolve them efficiently.
  • Understanding of computer hardware and software interactions.
  • Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, including SQL.

  • Prior experience in large-scale technology environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware and software architecture.
