Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This armed role involves engaging with individuals, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting access control. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Assist with crowd control and manage access during peak operational periods or special events at the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
