You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients, offering assistance as appropriate while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
