Security Officer - Distribution Site Lead - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site Lead - Full Time in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors. You'll conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the distribution location.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to company and client procedures.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
