As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Remain alert and aware of the surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
