Position Description:

We are seeking a self-driven summer intern to support our Human Computer Interactions team. This intern will assist in creating user-friendly digital experiences by helping with UI/UX design tasks and collaborating with the design team to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our products.
  • Assist in UI/UX design tasks, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Support research and testing efforts to gather user feedback and improve usability.
  • Work closely with the UX/UI lead and product team to translate concepts into visually appealing and functional designs.
  • Contribute to communication design and mixed media projects, ensuring consistency across digital platforms.
  • Apply principles of human-computer interaction to enhance user experience and accessibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
  • Must be pursuing at least a master's level degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Communication Design, Mixed Media Design, UI/UX Design or related major.
  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
  • Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
