Our client in Lafayette, IN, is seeking an EHS Document Control Assistant for a 2-year contract assignment, with the possibility of extension. The position works Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and offers a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will use Adobe Acrobat Pro to arrange and compile various file types into regulatory PHA reports.

Experience manipulating PDF files with Adobe Acrobat is required.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Setting up Microsoft review channels for draft reports
  • Tracking and documenting report approvals
  • Printing and filing PHA reports
  • Accurately entering PHA recommendations into the site's tracking system
  • Running reports on compliance tasks from the tracking system
  • Notifying action item owners of missed due dates and documenting their responses
  • Leading efforts to digitalize and streamline the compilation and review processes for PHA reports
  • Scanning and filing electronic documents


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills are essential, especially in Excel
  • Experienced in MS Teams (including setting up channels)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) or Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) is a plus
  • Prior experience as a chemistry technician or scientific assistant is also a plus
