How You'll Make an Impact

As an intern in the Intelligent Performance Analytics Division at Aptima, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on the design and implementation of machine learning models and data analysis workflows to support innovative AI-driven projects. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, model training and evaluation, and finetuning algorithms to optimize performance. Other key responsibilities include:

* Researching the latest generation of AI models

* Obtaining and cleaning training data sets

* Developing feature encodings

* Coding and implementation of machine learning methods

* Analyzing and validating models with statistical techniques

* Developing interfaces for exploring and utilizing AI

Requirements
  • Training and/or relevant coursework in research methods and statistics
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
  • Completed B.A./B.S. degree in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, human factors, data science, or other related fields
  • Currently enrolled and completed at least one year of coursework in an accredited graduate program work toward a Master or Doctoral degree
