The Specialized Application Engineer will provide high level technical and commercial support as a key member of the Masoneilan Valves Application Engineering team. This includes support for specialized control valve technical selection and proposal generation. This position requires strong foundation of technical and commercial skills and will develop knowledge of control valve applications and industries.

As a Specialized Application Engineer (SAE), you will be responsible for:

  • Handling NAM channel partners by collaboratively working with various factories engineering, quality, sourcing, product management teams to realize optimized customer solutions.
  • Coordinating with global SAE's to support channels by finding solutions and developing strategies to meet customer expectations within stipulated time frames.
  • Scheduling discussions with sales and channels on a weekly basis/case to case basis to understand the workflows in detail and make a strategy to provide solutions.
  • Supporting channels by sharing insights, experience & solutions and developing them to minimize requests.
  • Supporting consistent design approach for technical product & risk review.
  • Supporting Technical Risk Review process CAP39 and coordinating with sourcing & manufacturing execution teams.
  • Sharing ideas in control valve technology and manufacturing process.
  • Connecting industrial best practices with SAE teams with, engineering, product management, sourcing to develop solutions.
  • Developing application engineering culture focused on optimizing the balance between technical excellence and commercial viability of Baker Hughes valve solutions.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a STEM discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Masoneilan or control valve industry
  • Have experience in engineering/commercial applications.
