Responsibilities Successful candidate for this position will teach a full range of college courses in Human Nutrition and Public Health; perform service for the department, college, and university; mentor students inside and outside regular teaching hours; and maintain an active profile as a researcher in Nutrition and Public Health studies. Qualifications Candidates must have: Doctorate in human nutrition, dietetics, public health or closely related field; Doctorate in human nutrition, dietetics, public health or closely related field; evidence of published and/or externally funded research in the areas of human nutrition and/or public health; evidence of commitment to teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; ability to obtain Master of Public Health (MPH) and/or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential within the first year of hire. Required skills and publication/presentation requirements may be earned during advanced educational studies. Preferred qualifications include experience with conducting observational, applied, or clinical nutrition or public health research; experience mentoring students; and experience teaching at the collegiate level.
