Job Description
This is a developer role under the DHTS Architecture Design and Innovation Hub Team. The Architecture Design and Innovation Hub team has the dual responsibility for doing the research, development, and delivery of emerging technologies, in addition to the responsibility of enabling our organization to leverage IT and automation best practices.

Essential tasks/responsibilities:
Level I
- Contribute to development tasks under guidance from senior developers.
- Assist in testing, documenting, and deploying new automation and innovation solutions.
- Learn and apply new frameworks, languages, and tools.
- Support research and prototyping for emerging technologies (AI, ML, Automation).
- Contribute to the maintenance and monitoring of production systems.

Level II

- In addition to Level I
- Independently design and implement components of automation platforms and innovative applications.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers on prototypes and pilots.
- Conduct deeper research into emerging technology use cases and best practices.
- Mentor Level I staff.

Level III

In addition to Level II
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, cross-domain pilot projects using disruptive technologies.
- Partner with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and direction.
- Serve as a primary innovator, identifying and pioneering new delivery approaches.
- Drive organizational strategy for leveraging emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Level I: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field OR 2 years relevant work
experience.
Level II: Bachelor's degree OR 3-5 years relevant work experience.
Level III: Bachelor's or Master's degree OR 5-7 years relevant work experience.
Experience:
Level I: Experience in software development through internships, coursework, or entry-level
roles.
Level II: 3-5 years of experience in software development, with exposure to emerging
technologies.
Level III: 5-7 years development or architecture experience; 2-3 years designing and
delivering automation, innovation and AI-driven efforts.

Required Skills:
Level I
- Foundational programming and debugging skills.
- Basic collaboration skills within a team.
- Eagerness to learn innovation processes.
- Good communication skills.

Level II

Strong coding and problemsolving across at least one tech stack.
- Ability to work full-stack or across multiple tiers with guidance.
- Experience building maintainable, reusable code.
- Solid collaboration skills.

Level III

Proficiency across front end,back end, data, and infrastructure.
- Expertise designing scalable, reusable solutions.
- Ability to work with architects and senior leadership on strategic designs.
- Outside-the-box thinking, selforganization,and communication at an executive
level.

Desired Skills:
* API Development
* AI expertise
* Health sciences experience (clinical or research)
