Position Description:
Facilitate jobsite workforce administrative duties for management and utilization of Trade employees.

In this role, you will travel regularly between Charlotte, Raleigh, and Charleston.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate jobsite workforce administrative duties for management and utilization of Trade employees, under direction of Self-Perform Operations (SPO) Trades Manager.
  • Serve as liaison with jobsite superintendents and SPO Operations Manager and SPO Trades Manager to coordinate work force needs for Trades employees.
  • Engage with SPO Trades Manager to confirm and local Human Resources (HR) to post open project Trades employees positions.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition process, review applications and resumes to assess applicant qualifications, scheduling interviews, interview qualified candidates, provide disposition updates to HR for applicant tracking, and assist with extending conditional offers of employment to qualified applicants.
  • Collaborate with SPO Trades Manager and jobsite supervisors to coordinate and facilitate new hire first day of work and orientation, including setting up time tracking system for Trade employees and auditing timecards.
  • Conduct job sites visits to main connectivity with Trade employees and jobsite supervisors.
  • Maintain record keeping and compliance records for internal and external audit processes.
  • Follow up with jobsite supervisors for timely completion of annual performance reviews for Trades employees.
  • Participate in implementation of hourly wage assessments, merit increases, and incentive programs.
  • Engage with SPO Trades Manager to recommend training to enhance Trades employees' career development.
  • Conduct follow-up on required learning, manage training rosters, and report on training activities for Trades employees.
  • Maintain updates to Trades employee Location Log and review with jobsite supervisors to confirm log accuracy.
  • Collaborate with SPO Trades Manager and local HR about Trade employee discipline issues and termination processes and ensure completion of required documentation.
  • May engage with local Union(s) about Trade recruitment activities and Trades employees' discipline and termination processes.
  • In locations with limited SPO team, may perform other duties, including but not limited to:
    • Track, and review extra work tickets with SPO Superintendents and jobsite supervisors and disperse workforce to complete tasks.
    • May oversee small SPO projects with limited workforce.
    • Facilitate Foreman trainings related to SPO procedures and safety guidelines.
    • Engage with Foreman to align expectations and instill consistency of work within company guidelines as related to Jurisdictions Having Authority (JHA), Pre-Task Plan (PTP), Hot Work, Equipment Inspections, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Ladders Last, and Daily Construction Reports (DCR).
    • Coordinate warehouse scheduling and logistics.
    • Manage warehouse team and staffing requirements.
    • Process invoices for payment related to equipment rentals, trade time billed at rates, and job pay applications to clients.
    • Coordinate Prefabrication (Prefab) activities including ordering materials, scheduling, procurement, shipping, and deliveries.
    • Manage Turner SPO Fleet, equipment management, DOT drivers and logs, and Drive Supervisors.
    • Facilitate Turner Tool Crib Management, Procurement, and tracking.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program, desired
  • Construction experience and knowledge of Union operations, desired
  • Good understanding of business and construction trade operations
  • Knowledgeable of Human Resources functions and able to interpret company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Approachable and ability to interact with all employee levels, management, and stakeholders
  • Active listening skills, proactive, responsive, and with strong follow-up practices
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and timely documentation
  • Professional written and clear verbal communication skills
