About the Role:
Belcan is seeking experienced Aircraft Technicians / Mechanics to support a high-profile defense aerospace program at a client supplier site. We're hiring individuals with expertise in either aircraft wire routing or electrical assembly, both critical to supporting complex aircraft production and maintenance.
This is a hands-on role working across multiple aircraft platforms, requiring precision, familiarity with technical documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced flight line or production environment. Mechanical knowledge is a strong asset in both areas of work.

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform aircraft wire routing, including layout, harnessing, and secure installation
*Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and electronic systems
*Read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and schematics
*Conduct system checkout and continuity testing to ensure functionality
*Identify and resolve installation issues or design mismatches with engineering support
*Support mechanical assembly or structural tasks as needed
*Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams on troubleshooting and production goals
*Participate in flight line and ramp operations when required

Required Qualifications:
*Strong hands-on experience in either wire routing or electrical assembly in an aerospace or defense setting
*Ability to read and follow technical documentation, such as wire lists, schematics, and part drawings
*Familiarity with aerospace-grade tools and techniques (e.g., crimping, soldering, torque specs)
*U.S. Citizenship required (for ITAR and program compliance)
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, safety-conscious environment

Preferred Qualifications:
*Mechanical knowledge or experience with aircraft systems and structures
*Previous work on Boeing defense or air dominance programs
*Experience in flight line maintenance or final assembly
*Familiarity with composite structures and aerospace production tools
*FAA Airframe or Powerplant (A&P) license

Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $55.00-65.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
