Salary Range: $87,934 - $186,868

WSDI Level One Operations Manager.

Serve as the Operations Branch Manager and working supervisor responsible for the management of day-to-day Task Order technical activities of the DCS Warfare System Development & Integration (WSDI) Team on Task Order 0009. The general scope of the position is to develop, lead, and mentor the team in order to provide the required support to the Government customers at Unmanned Systems (UxS), Digital Precision Strike Suite (DPSS) and Visionary Engineering for Combat Technology and Rapid-Response (VECTR) Integrated Product Teams (IPT).

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for assisting in managing all Task Order direct work, empowered to make immediate technical and staff allocation decisions necessary to ensure responsiveness to our WSDI customers.

Provide direct supervision of the technical staff, hiring of staff members, and the allocation of staff members within the Task Order to meet tasking requirements related to DCS assigned WSDI tasking.

Serve in an advisory capacity to government and contractor cognizant policy-making personnel for WSDI related issues.

Demonstrate leadership ability to share ideas and successfully influence team members for the purpose of process practice and implementation.

Participate directly in completing a wide range of WSDI quality engineering tasks relating to work executed by various team members.

Actively work within a diversified team, consisting of technical analysts, software and systems engineering personnel as well as government personnel.

Act as the primary point of contact for day to day DCS dealings with Government and non-Government personnel associated with WSDI tasking and personnel.

Manage all Task Order direct work, empowered to make immediate technical and staff allocation decisions necessary to ensure responsiveness to our Navy/Marine Corps customer.

Coordinate with fellow managers in order to provide coordinated communications and seamless support for the customers across the DCS Team.

Team leadership experience.

Accustomed to interfacing with contractors and US Government personnel.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School diploma plus 14 years of directly applicable experience or BS/BA Degree with 6 plus years of directly applicable experience and training.

Must have a current security clearance.

Experience with the principles of software/systems engineering, quality assurance review and process assurance knowledge.

Familiarity with the sub-systems and functionality of supporting WSDI systems.

Ability to prioritize daily and weekly tasking for self and assigned support staff members to complete assigned tasking in a timely manner.

Ability to plan, track and communicate status, risks, and needs.

Effective communication skills; both oral and written.

Desired Skills:

Completion of applicable DCS manager training.
