Job Scope

The Retirement Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and compliance of U.S. and Canadian retirement programs, including 401(k), RRSP/DPSP, and pre-tax savings accounts such as HSA and FSA. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for retirement benefits and will lead all operational, compliance, and vendor-related activities. The analyst will also support internal audits, regulatory filings, and cross-functional initiatives, including M&A integration. You will work closely with the Director, Compensation & Benefit, Plan Advisors, vendors, and HR Operations team to ensure that programs are aligned with the Company's strategic goals and competitive practices for the industry. You will be a partner in driving these programs that attract, engage and retain talent at Diasorin.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee Administration and Compliance of: US 401(k) Retirement Plan, Canadian RRSP/DPSP Plans, Health Savings Account and Spending Accounts.

* Lead and Execute retirement compliance activities such as Annual ERISA, Government Filings, SPDs, Non- Discrimination testing.

* Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and provincial regulations (e.g., ERISA, IRS, DOL, CRA)

* Manage funding processes for all retirement and savings plans, ensuring adherence to internal governance protocols.

* Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors (i.e., carriers, brokers, advisors, recordkeepers etc.)

* Oversee 401(k) employer match and year-end true-up calculations.

* Identify and implement retirement program enhancements aligned with business and employee needs.

* Identify and Implement processes improvement to ensure our programs operate effectively and efficiently

* Manage complex and escalated retirement-related inquiries and issues.

* Partner with retirement plan vendors and lead employee education initiatives for retirement programs, including webinars and other engagement strategies, to increase understanding, promote retirement readiness, support compliance, and drive participation.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance, HRIS) and external vendors (e.g., Fidelity, Dayforce).

* Ensure remittance and reconciliation data for retirement and spending account programs is current and that any discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.

* Maintain and update employee-facing retirement plan resources and communications.

* Develop and maintain SOPs for retirement and pre-tax benefit processes. Own calendar of compliance deadlines and vendor deliverables.

* Stay informed on evolving retirement and benefits regulations (e.g., ERISA, IRS, CRA) and proactively advise management and internal stakeholders on compliance requirements, operational impacts, and recommended actions.

* Support M&A activity, including plan integration and compliance assessments.

* Perform all other relevant duties as needed.

Experience, Education, and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree, in HR, Business, Finance or a related field but experience and/or other training and certification may be substituted
  • 7+ years Progressive experience managing retirement plans, including 401(k) and HSA. preferably in high growth or corporate environments
  • 3+ years Vendor management and issue resolution capabilities
  • 3+ years Experience Canada Benefit Programs
  • 3+ years Experience with Dayforce and Fidelity file feeds and vendor integrations
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)-IFEBP
  • SHRM-CP
  • Appreciation for the fact that we work in a global environment that is rapidly changing and growing
  • Progressive years of experience managing retirement plans, 401(k)
  • Strong knowledge of retirement program regulations, including ERISA, DOL and IRS guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate across diverse groups with a clear and approachable style
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to plan and set priorities
  • Team player with an ability to work both collaboratively and asynchronously
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert user skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Especially in Excel.
  • Knowledge of HRIS other uses of technology
