Adjunct Instructor

Working title: Adjunct Instructor

Description: School of Library and Information Science is hiring an adjunct instructor for the 2026 Spring Term. The adjunct instructor will teach SLIS:6345 Stewardship of Information and Collection for 3 semester hours of credit.

Requirements:

• An MLIS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program.
• Current Iowa Certification in School Librarianship.
• 5+ years of academic library experience needed.

Desirable:

• Some higher education teaching experience preferred.
