Job Summary

The Associate Director contributes to broader recruitment efforts across all MBA and MM programs, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and enrollment targets.

The Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for leading the strategic execution of a comprehensive recruitment plan designed to convert targeted prospects into applicants, and ultimately, enrolled students across the UC Davis on-campus MBA and Master of Management (MM) programs. This role oversees the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, manages key relationships, and provides mentorship and guidance to Associate Directors on tactical approaches to meet enrollment goals and expand access among a wide range of student populations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, communication, international relations or other related field.
  • Seasoned professional with experience (2+ years) in admissions or corporate recruitment or sales, with a proven track record of delivering against goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to provide clear information and persuade listeners.
  • Adept at developing and delivering marketing presentations to persuade others and relay information in an enthusiastic and dynamic manner through public speaking and presentations.
  • A strategic thinker with analytical skills to prepare statistical reports, work within databases, and analyze a variety of data and processing systems to deliver and recommend data driven strategic plans for success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or other related master's degree,

Work Environment

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
