As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting patients, visitors, and staff as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals to appropriate locations and supporting first responders as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Work in collaboration with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and provide support during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
