Security Officer - Airport Patrol

As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries while upholding access control procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or critical situations.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on all security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
