Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking an Ivanti System Administrator to support IT service desk ticketing systems for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC). This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Administer, configure, and maintain the Ivanti Service Manager platform and related systems, including Ivanti Voice Server, Asset Manager, and Change Manager.
  • Perform regular maintenance on servers and workstations, including applying OS updates, patches, and backups.
  • Configure and customize Service Desk modules to support incident, problem, change, and asset management processes.
  • Monitor system performance and implement upgrades to ensure optimal performance levels.
  • Provide support to users, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to Ivanti and general system environments.
  • Ensure system security, manage user permissions, and conduct audits to maintain compliance with policies and standards.
  • Support and develop automation workflows within the Ivanti platform.
  • Integrate Ivanti tools with other IT systems.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures.


Qualifications

3+ years experience in systems administration for Ivanti systems. HS diploma or GED. Ivanti certification highly desirable. Extensive experience with database design and administration, designing data schemas and structures that maintain clear referential integrity. Extensive experience with Ivanti Service Manager, Ivanti Voice Server, Ivanti Asset Manager, and Ivanti Change Manager. Proven experience designing and maintaining database schemas and structures with strong referential integrity. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including incident, problem, change, and asset management. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams and communicate complex concepts clearly. Must be a US Citizen.
