Process Engineering Technician
needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in San Diego, CA.

This position will be for a major biotech company,
and this role would suit someone with a B.S. or working towards B.S. in related field preferred, with experience executing batch records per GDP.

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns well-defined tasks, with supervision.
• Basic knowledge in specific discipline
• Low complexity data collection and hands-on skills
• Uses project collaboration tools/environments
• Supports troubleshooting
• Able to execute written instructions as provided by supervisor
• Provide support for stocking lab supplies and maintaining lab equipment as instructed by supervisor
• Works effectively in team environment
• Establishes relationships with immediate project team and function
• Knows who the internal customers are, and is aware of their needs and expectations
• Communication of observations, technical findings and progress to supervisor and immediate project team
• Acknowledge communications/instructions are understood, and seeks clarification when required.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 0-1 years of related experience
• S. or working towards B.S. in related field preferred
• Experience executing batch records per GDP
• Experience working in a lab
• Experience working with detailed instructions and guidance from engineering staff
• Experimental testing experience preferred
• Troubleshooting experience
• Wet-lab experience
• Exposure to common laboratory practices
