About the Role
We are looking for a versatile Inside Sales Associate to join our America's sales team who will provide best in class order management services for apparel production factories and coordinate global supply chain efforts for customers. This associate will work across Safety, Defense, and Consumer market segments in multiple product forms. This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement. Pay and Benefits:
- $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Support current portfolio of North American customers (5-10 customers), with a focus on receiving & processing sales orders, contract reviews, delivery confirmations and frequent customer interactions.
- Serve as the customer-facing contact and liaison for material forecasting, pricing, product technical information, new product sampling, quality and seasonal timeline support.
- Work closely with account teams (field sales, inside sales, application engineers, product specialists) to partner with each customer, listening to their seasonal and contractual requirements to develop a plan to execute those objectives.
- Partner closely with each account's material and procurement team to understand their seasonal forecast and execute a plan to prepare the internal Gore supply chain to support these requirements. Proven ability to analyze large set of customer data to produce an accurate demand signal and revenue projection.
- Drive internal supply chain discussions across global functional teams to manage seasonal demand, product transitions and quality incidents.
- Collaborate with members of extended Global Gore teams (product specialists, supply chain, sustainably, export logistics, quality assurance, finance, marketing and business leaders) to execute the business and account plan goals.
- Inform customers about Gore, product technologies and be able to respond to basic product and technical questions.
- Coordinate sales orders effectively & timely in compliance with our Global procedures and agreed service levels.
- Operate in a complex supply chain environment across multiple product forms while providing best in class customer service.
- Use digital tools to educate, inform, and influence customer behaviors (product portals, order analytics).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, operations, logistics, planning, procurement and/or supply chain
- Familiar with multi-functional and multi-culture environment, with the ability to interact through various global time zones
- Strong system and process skills with focus on continuous improvement
- Strong analytical skills with a detail oriented approach, with excellent communication skills
- Experience building internal and external virtual relationships, ability to navigate a matrix organization
- Strong, positive influencing skills
- Familiar with ERP system environment, knowledge of Microsoft office application
- Willing to do manual computer input and strong Microsoft excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure and show patience through difficult customer situations
- Ability to travel up to 10%

- SAP experience
