Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Temporary Facilities Supervisor

Play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly by leading a team dedicated to maintaining a safe, productive, and well-supported workplace. In this position, you will help shape how we deliver critical facility services while contributing to a culture built on collaboration, dependability, and continuous improvement.

Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of our facilities team, typically fewer than 15 team members. You ensure that essential office and facility services-such as document retention, mail and messenger operations, office equipment upkeep, purchasing, and general maintenance-are delivered efficiently and consistently meet the needs of the organization. You coordinate schedules and project work, review completed tasks, track utilization, and actively identify opportunities to enhance our services and processes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a facilities team, serving as a working supervisor who guides, mentors, and ensures high-quality performance.
  • Oversee daily facility operations including document processing, mail distribution, office equipment management, purchasing, and maintenance activities.
  • Assign, schedule, and monitor work; follow up to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
  • Assist team members with troubleshooting issues involving systems, tools, and facility processes.
  • Administer company policies and procedures to help the team meet safety, quality, and operational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of workload, utilization, and project progress.
  • Recommend improvements or additional services that streamline operations and better serve internal customers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and stakeholders, using clear, persuasive, and professional communication.

  • A technical school certificate, associate degree, diploma, or equivalent training in a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant facilities, maintenance, or operations experience, ideally with some leadership or team-lead exposure.
  • A strong understanding of facility systems, processes, and tools-with the ability to assist others and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • The capability to lead yourself and others, balancing hands-on work with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Good judgment in organizing work, overseeing tasks, and making decisions that support team and business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and influence others when necessary.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering reliable service.
