ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

The EUV source team in San Diego operates in a fast-paced, innovative, and challenging environment to create new-to-industry solutions with rapid productization to support an aggressive commercialization plan for the EUV lithography technology within ASML.As a Software Engineer you will be engaged in all phases of software development and integration involving sophisticated control algorithms implemented in real-time embedded software executing on multiple high speed computers, all working under extremely challenging dynamic conditions to produce stable EUV light.

  • Align the Test Approach to the Test Strategy for the domain.

  • Identify the risks for the delivery and the applicable Test Items from the Domain Test Strategy and select test cases from the Domain Test Specification based on this. Risks that are, for example, identified during the review of the delivery / deliveries and related documents (like SIA2 / EPS / EDS).

  • Select the test cases to be added to the Delivery Test Specification.

  • Identify risks and Test Items, create test designs that do not exist yet and determine whether these also should be added to the Domain Test Strategy. In case test designs exist, update these when needed.

  • Select the test cases resulting from the test designs that are candidates to be added to the Domain Test Specification and align this with the Domain Test Architect to extend the regression test set for the domain.

  • Execute test cases related to the delivery (e.g. for integration delivery to QBL, service pack qualification or patch delivery / qualification), as selected / specified in the Delivery Test Approach.
