Johnson County Mental Health is looking to fill the role of an Adolescent Outpatient Addictions Services Clinician (Clinician II) position. This position requires an applicant to be credentialed with the BSRB with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Psychology or other Human Services field. This position is responsible for a variety of functions to help support adolescent clients working through both mental health and substance use related conditions. This position will provide diagnostic assessments, treatment plan development, and individual, group and family therapy services. This position will also provide group therapy supports to the Adolescent Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program starting in 2026. Some early evening hours will be required. This position will also work closely with the clinical team of clinicians and case managers throughout the Children and Family division to meet the individual substance use and mental health needs of the youth. Application review will begin on December 10th. Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level. Job Description This position: Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure* at the master's level in the area of focus are required. May require a KS/MO driver's license, depending on department or agency. *Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level and one year of experience in the area of focus is preferred.
