HDR is looking for a Construction EIT to join our Transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Program in Charleston, SC. This individual must be able to work individually and within a group of inspectors to verify construction activities to comply with plans and specifications. Good communication skills and problem resolution skills are a must as they will have daily interaction with the contractor. SCDOT certifications that will allow them to perform various material testing and sampling duties as needed (asphalt, concrete, and foundations) are a big plus. They must also be well organized as they will need to generate and maintain project documentation such as letters, testing reports, and daily diaries. On a day-to-day basis, they will be expected to:
