Store Clerk - Threads of Hope

We're looking for friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Store Clerks. Part-time and on-call shifts are available.

What You'll Do:

As a Store Clerk, you'll be the welcoming face of Threads of Hope. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and assisting customers and donors with a positive attitude
• Accepting and sorting donations
• Restocking clothing racks and shelves with donated items
• Assisting in fitting rooms
• Operating the cash register for cash and card transactions
• Answering store phone calls and customer questions
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and safe for all

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 16 years old
• Enrolled in high school, or hold a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Experience handling cash responsibly is a plus

Personal Qualities:

• Friendly and respectful demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand/walk for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds
• Available to work one or more of the following shifts:

  • 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Monday-Saturday)
