Proceeds from our Aroostook County stores directly support the Food Bank, while our Sanford stores help fund 20+ statewide programs serving Mainers in need. We're on a mission to make life look better for everyone-those who can help and those who need a hand.

Position Overview: The Thrift Store Clerk provides exceptional customer service to shoppers and donors. This position includes assisting customers, handling sales transactions, answering phones, sorting and pricing donations, stocking and arranging displays, and keeping the store clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and change
• Receive, sort, and price donated items
• Organize and display merchandise attractively
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
• Answer phone inquiries and assist with general store needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Cash handling experience a plus
• Friendly, dependable, and community-minded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good judgment, initiative, and a positive attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
