We're seeking an Interim Technical Manager to lead maintenance and engineering operations across two sites. This is a 2-year interim role with the possibility of continued employment based on business needs and investment. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership, driving efficiency and reliability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead maintenance and engineering teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee CMMS migration (mid-2026) and optimize maintenance planning.
  • Develop predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with operations and uphold a strong safety culture.



What We're Looking For:




  • Education: University degree in Technology or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience implementing TPM and managing CMMS systems.
  • Ability to lead teams through change and upskill talent.
  • Familiarity with KPIs and efficiency metrics.


Preferred:



  • Background in medical device manufacturing.
  • Understanding of process technology and facilities management.

Work Schedule



  • Monday-Friday, primarily first shift with flexibility for off-hours.
  • Rotate between the Brunswick site & Wiscasset site
