Watts Water Technologies is seeking a skilled Cisco Network Engineerto support and enhance our global network infrastructure spanning corporate offices, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and remote sites. In this role, you will design, implement, and support an enterprise-class Cisco environment that enables secure, reliable operations for both IT and OT systems worldwide.

This position is a key contributor to network resiliency, cybersecurity posture, plant uptime, and the success of our global digital transformation initiatives.

This position reports to Senior Manager, Global IT Infrastructure & Operations.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable Cisco network architectures across 50+ global sites.

  • Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and firewalls.

  • Implement routing and switching (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VLANs, EtherChannel) for highly available enterprise and manufacturing environments.

  • Support network connectivity for OT systems, including PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and industrial automation equipment.

  • Deploy and optimize wireless networks in plants, warehouses, and labswith complex RF conditions.

  • Manage Cisco ASA/FirePOWER firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and global Cisco AnyConnect remote access.

  • Ensure reliable connectivity for critical applications including SAP, Salesforce, Azure workloads, and IoT analytics platforms.

  • Implement and enforce network security controls aligned with Watts' corporate cybersecurity standards.

  • Maintain segmentation between IT, OT, PCI, R&D, and cloud environments using VLANs, ACLs, and NAC solutions.

  • Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle maintenance for all Cisco devices.

  • Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and configuration standards.

  • Partner with End User Support, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and plant engineering teams for cross-functional projects, escalations, and facility upgrades.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP/VRRP, STP, VLANs, QoS).

  • Experience supporting networks in manufacturing or industrial environments.

  • Familiarity with OT networking, segmentation, and connectivity for industrial devices.

  • Proficiency with Cisco ISE, ASA/FirePOWER, and VPN technologies.

  • Understanding of Azure networkingand hybrid site-to-cloud connectivity.

  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA required; CCNP preferred; CCIE a strong plus.

  • Experience with SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, or network automation (Python, Ansible).

  • Background working with SAP, SCADA/OT systems, or global multi-site enterprises.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the office at the Andover, MA location for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

  • Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.

The expected salary range for this position is $83,000-98,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
