As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service skills will support a positive atmosphere for all personnel. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor chemical and petrochemical areas for any unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to the unique environment and conditions of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
