Job Description




As a Security Guard - Media Patrol Driver in Mount Juliet, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will provide reassurance to those onsite while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior in a tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide support to employees and visitors.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and assist with access control as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
