We are hiring a: Product Development Co-op


St. Louis, MO-Onsite


About the role


As a Product Development Co-op at Watlow, you will gain hands-on experience in designing and executing tests that shape the future of our products. Your work will directly impact innovation and quality, contributing to the success of our teams and customers worldwide.

We are looking for a problem solver and continuous improver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You have a strong engineering mindset, a passion for quality, and the desire to make a tangible impact. If you're ready to take ownership and drive meaningful change, this role is for you.


What You'll Do:



  • Hands-on experience working in an electric heater test lab or machine shop alongside experienced engineers and technicians
  • Assist in gathering test requirements and writing test procedures and plans
  • Design and assemble test fixtures, wiring, and programming controllers
  • Execute and monitor tests, perform failure and root cause analysis
  • Write detailed test reports


What you'll need to succeed?



  • Pursuing an engineering bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Preferred: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience writing test plans and procedures
  • Coursework in electrical circuits and heat transfer preferred
  • Solid modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Aptitude for using tools; LabVIEW experience is a plus
