TITLE: Maintenance Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To coordinate the maintenance activities of the XF Plant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or closely related field degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the equipment maintenance or engineering field with at least 3 of those years in maintenance supervision is preferred.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the maintenance activities of the XF plant through the direct supervision of the department personnel while observing plant policies and procedures.
- Manage, implement and control all maintenance, PM and TPM activities for all plant equipment and facilities both electrical and mechanical.
- Submit, design and implement equipment improvements through the improvement projects process.
- Initiate personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
- Analyze monthly maintenance data and report to upper management as necessary.
- Generate yearly budget proposals.
- Develop or revise standard working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with the standards.
- Ensure compliance of all safety policies and procedures.
- Train personnel on new policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Designate job assignments for all maintenance personnel including engineers, technicians, parts coordinator, etc..
- Inspect and approve completed work as necessary.
- Initiate as necessary and approve issue tickets and material requests for parts and supplies.
- Implement and oversee the 5S program for the department.
- Other duties as assigned by the plant manager.

- Temperature controlled
- Subject to noise, moving machinery, and/or electrical currents
- Possible exposure to some chemicals, gases, high heat
- Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, and dusts
