- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations, which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Determines and follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas.
- Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- May work with complex machines or computer systems.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Entry-level support individual contributor.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Work consists of routine tasks.
- Explains facts and practices related to the job area.
- Detailed instructions are provided, and a close peer review is needed
- Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach an agreement.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 4 years experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in troubleshooting and performing calibration checks on equipment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with 2 years experience
- Teamwork skills
- Good communication skills.
