Title: Licensed Physicians Location: Romulus NY 14541 Mode: Onsite Pay Rate: $75/hr on w2 without benefits Shift: Shift: M-F/7:30am-3:30pm Role & Responsibilities: Clinical Physicians are licensed Physicians who provide a variety of general medical care and treatment services to incarcerated individuals in accordance with Article 131 of the Education Law. Incumbents conduct physical examinations, independently diagnoses, treats, prescribes, and provides general medical care and treatment services to individuals; provides clinical supervision and guidance to lower-level Clinical Physicians and other medical providers; and may manage and supervise medical services for an assigned facility, unit, or program. Examine patients, using medical instruments and equipment. Elicit and record information about patient's medical history. Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition. Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations and diagnose condition of patient. Administer or prescribe treatments and medications. Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease. Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases. Refer patients to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for patient's well-being. Possess a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York. Possess and maintain a valid Federal Narcotics Number.
