Here's what you'd do:

  • The Payroll Accountant is responsible for proactive collaboration with vendor points of contact and key Finance business partners.
  • This role is accountable for ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality business outcomes.
  • Prepares and reconciles payroll-related accounting entries.
  • Prepares and maintains inter-company billing for submission to accounting.
  • Provide the necessary reports associated with payroll to finance.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of various payroll reports and analyses to customers and management.
  • Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
  • Coordinate any new benefit plans implementation or systems and collaborate with HRIS, payroll, and vendors to support Benefit Plan Designs.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of management systems and process flows to support vendors and payroll interfaces.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $53.53/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week - 1st shift.

Length: Temp (3 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office with intermediate to expert level in Excel.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of payroll and benefit accounting.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish solid working relationships.
  • Solid follow-up and follow-through skills.
