Security Officer - Industrial Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Industrial Entry Control in Fernandina Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, verifying credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
• Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation and/or lockdown procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as necessary to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
