Senior Logistics Manager

WORK LOCATION: Lackland AFB, TX

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; Salaried

SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST have an active Top Secret security clearance

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Manager supporting the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, which is within the Cyber and Networks Directorate (AFLCMC/HN), and located at Lackland AFB, TX.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
  • Familiarity with defense acquisition management in accordance with the DoD 5000.
  • Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis
  • Familiarity with the logistics integrated product support model outlined in the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Capable of leading and completing complex projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the Integrated Logistics Support elements (ILS) System Life-Cycle requirements (as they pertain to a systems acquisition)
  • Familiarity with the Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)
  • Familiarity with the Management Internal Control Toolset (MIC-T)
  • Experience with Statements of Work (Product Support Requirements)
  • Experience developing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, advising, and aligning logistics requirements with applicable policy, procedures, and guidance
  • Ensuring Asset Management and Material Accountability are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance
  • Supporting supply chain risk management to ensure supply chain assurance processes are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance
  • Government Furnished Equipment (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
  • Experience or at minimum familiarity with Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) requirements
  • Experience or at a minimum familiarity with Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) development
  • Experience or at minimum knowledge of Provisioning requirements
  • Experience with equipment ordering
  • Experience working in a Program Management Office (PMO) Environment
    • When assigned to a particular acquisition program, the ability to provide logistics SME support to the program team
    • Proficient Microsoft office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
    • Positive attitude and open to feedback from other team members
