Under physician supervision, this position supports all aspects of patient care and clinic flow, including obtaining medical and ocular history and conducting comprehensive patient workups. Responsibilities include visual acuity, refractive measurements, spectacle data, and intraocular pressure assessments, as well as performing diagnostic testing such as visual fields, color vision, pupillary response, corneal topography, and specialty tests (BAT, PAM, Amsler Grid, OCT, Optos, Slit Lamp Photography) to assist in accurate evaluation and treatment planning. The role also ensures timely and courteous patient flow and includes organizing and stocking examination rooms to maintain readiness and efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $75,961 - $75,961 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $36.38 - $36.38 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
