What You'll Do Day-To-Day

    Plans, schedules and conducts independent assessments and surveillance of materials and products.
  • Reviews documents, prepares checklists, conducts assessment interviews and prepares assessment reports.
  • Ensures corrective action issues are identified & documented; conducts 'root cause' or 'apparent cause' analyses; verifies that corrective/preventative actions are effective and documented in the corrective action program.
  • Reviews procedures to comply with ISO, ASME, ANSI & NRC standards and other national/international regulations.
  • Awareness and comprehension of NRC or other pertinent national/international regulations, codes and standards.
  • Awareness and comprehension of company & industry engineering processes, computer codes and standards.
  • Develops and implements nuclear and/or non-nuclear QA procedures to be followed for design, procurement, construction and/or operation of materials and/or processes.
  • Reviews QA specifications, test reports and other documentation to ensure safety and QA requirements are met.
  • Inspects and reviews contractors' and vendors' work for compliance with QA standards.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    • Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Nuclear quality assurance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge related engineering and quality assurance standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $106,000 - $144,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
